Processing Associate – Bucking & Trimming Team Jobs in Winnipeg at Delta 9 Bio-Tech Inc.

Delta 9 Bio-Tech Inc. is looking for Processing Associates to join our operations team. As a Winnipeg based, federally licensed producer of cannabis. Delta 9 is a Manitoba leader with a dynamic and “growing” work environment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a labour position, ideally in an ACMPR environment. Processing Associates must be flexible with shift-work and comfortable working in warehouse working conditions. Successful candidates will exude passion for plants and strong attention to detail.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Hand bucking cannabis (using scissors)
Trimming cannabis (using scissors/snips)
Quality control
Operate Mobius, including sanitation
General daily opening and closing sanitation routines
Accurate record keeping following good documentation practices
PPE required including hairnet, facemask, gloves, beard net (as applicable), earplugs and ear muffs (as needed during equipment operation)
Transport cannabis; lifting bins and pulling carts
Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions diligently
Assist other production teams, including cultivation, packaging and sanitation
Other duties as assigned by management

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

High School Diploma, Secondary education would be an Asset
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to lift 50lbs
Ability to sit for extended periods
Experience in a regulated environment
