As a Primary Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers or enthusiastic educators seeking valuable classroom experience.

Salary Scale: £125-£220
Contract Type: Full-time or Part time availableResponsibilities
As a Primary School Cover Teacher you will deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to primary students across various year groups.
Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher.
As a Primary School Cover Teacher you will adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Ensure a smooth transition for students in the absence of their regular teacher.
As a Primary School Cover Teacher you will follow school policies and procedures during the cover period.
Provide feedback to the regular teacher regarding the day’s activities.
Qualifications And Skills
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Previous experience teaching primary students is advantageous.
As a Primary School Cover Teacher you will have strong classroom management skills.
Adaptability and flexibility to cover different year groups.
As a Primary School Cover Teacher you will have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow and implement lesson plans effectively.
