What it’s all about:
Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, thePricing Specialistwill be able to demonstrate great attention to detail, an affinity for accuracy and be a self-starter. As a key member of the Business Intelligence Unit, their objective to provide accurate and competitive pricing, identify opportunities to remove costs by producing detailed reporting, maintaining accurate company data and assisting with projects aligned with business objectives.

Your key accountabilities will include but are not limited to:
Protecting and propagating margin opportunities by collaborating with both purchasing and sales;
Coordinating pricing changes and monitoring future cost changes, and communicating these changes to the stakeholders;
Setting up pricing for contracts and promotional activity. Validating and tracking vendor support for promotional activity;
Assisting with cost maintenance by implementing cost changes and maintaining specific cost recoveries to produce accurate landed cost;
Preparing and presenting data-driven reports, identifying internal revenue opportunities.
Maintaining and analyzing performance metrics against recommendations provided;
Resolving pricing discrepancies, communicating with internal departments;
Assisting with regular maintenance of the Item File Database;
Maintaining supplier provided planograms for distribution programs;
Supporting annual Tradeshow preparations by implementing deal pricing and coordinating new listing requirements;
Qualifications:
Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel;
Experience in retail/foodservice setting and in analytics;
Understanding of wholesale distribution;
Strong communication skills (both oral and written); employs active listening skills;
Displays a high level of personal integrity, personifying the company’s core values;
Ability to make decisions and work independently, with regular communication within the team;
Demonstrates collaborative team efforts throughout the organization;
Excellent time management skills to stay organized and focused;
Strong attention to details with a high commitment to accuracy;
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
