**IDEAL CANIDATE WILL HAVE 5 YEARS OF PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE OPERATING A PRESS BREAK IN A PERCISION SHEETMETAL CAPACITY**

Setup and safely operate CNC press brakes.

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Responsibilities:

· Operator is knowledgeable with specialty tools such as flattening dies, acute tooling, large radius tooling and multiple tools in bed.

· Proficient in complex Brake set-up, parts require multiple set-up or parts that require additional processes between bending operations.

· Operator is to perform at an accelerated pace while maintaining highest quality standards.

· Operator is knowledgeable about different types of equipment, ranging from machine tonnage-machine capabilities (Multi axis/ deep draw), etc.

· Ability to use general inspection equipment to check parts for conformity. A few examples are hand calipers and height gauges.

· Setup and document tooling and safe practices for press brake operations.

· Verify accuracy of machine settings to confirm accurate tolerances and machine functions.

· In process checks are required to ensure parts conform to drawing requirements per AQL.

· Ability to identify bend locations, appropriate tonnage, and appropriate tooling for each part being formed.

· Operator is responsible for maintaining a clean machine and work environment.

· Operators will be required to maintain accurate parts and motivation on routine repetitive jobs.

· Perform preventative maintenance per applicable procedures.

· Participate in Continuous Improvement Activities.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Previous Experience:

· 5 years previous experience operating a brake press in a precision sheet metal capacity. (Amada machine experience preferred)

Other Skills:

· Ability to read and understand work instructions or blueprints.

· Willingness to be versatile in other departments as necessary.

· Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, AS 9100, and ISO 13485 standards is preferred.

· Global Shop experience preferred.

· FIFO, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, QMS and JIT.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.50 – $28.00 per hour
