Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team. As a powder coat prep you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to a powder coating. The ideal candidate will have powder coating knowledge which includes prepping and hanging of parts. Additional experience working with hand tools, and forklifts is an added benefit. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team in a lean manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
– Perform hanging of parts according to job requirements
– Prep, wash and clean parts as needed prior to powder coating
– Utilize forklifts to move materials and products as needed
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
– Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times
Requirements:
– Previous experience in powder coating environment preferred
– Good work ethic
– Strong and able to lift 50 pounds+ parts as needed.
– Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Skills:
– Basic math
– Forklift operation
– Hand tool operation

Salary: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
