We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Porter to join our team. The Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for both staff and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who can work efficiently and take pride in their work.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events or meetings as needed.
- Manage the receipt and organization of incoming deliveries.
- Monitor and restock supplies in restrooms and common areas to ensure availability.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests and responding to inquiries in a friendly manner.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Good communication skills to interact with staff and visitors positively.
