UPS is hiring PM Sorters (Warehouse Associates) at their Ajax, Ontario facility. This is a part-time permanent position on the afternoon shift, Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The Warehouse Associate’s position is a physical, fast-paced, and labour-intensive role within a warehouse environment that involves sorting and stocking packages as well as loading and unloading them into and out of UPS package delivery vehicles and trailers.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages into package delivery vehicles and trailers
- Learn and properly execute company-established package handling methods
- Sort and stock packages based on postal codes
Qualifications
- Full availability to work Monday to Saturday
- Ability to read and memorize postal codes
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Comfortable working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles
- Warehouse experience (would be considered an asset)
Compensation and Benefits
- $18.50/hr starting wage with automatic progression under the Union Collective Agreement (top rate of $36.53/hr after 48 months)

Note:
Monthly union dues of approximately $52/month apply, along with a one‑time union initiation fee of $50 deducted after 90 working days.
