Job Overview: As an Entry Level Plant Operator at EcoWest Plastics, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. Working under the guidance of experienced operators and supervisors, you will learn the ins and outs of our production systems and gain valuable hands-on experience in plastic extrusion and molding.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor machinery used in the extrusion blow molding process
Assist in the setup and preparation of equipment for production runs
Follow production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders
Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet our high standards
Notify supervisors of any equipment malfunctions or deviations from quality standards
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Assist with material handling and inventory management
Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
No prior experience required; we are willing to train the right candidates
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical skills
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products
Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve standing, bending, and lifting
Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
