Full job description
Responsibilities:
– Assist pipefitters in the installation, repair, and maintenance of piping systems
– Carry and organize tools and materials for pipefitting projects
– Assist in measuring, cutting, and threading pipes
– Assist in welding and fabricating pipes as needed
– Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents
– Perform basic calculations and measurements using tools such as calipers
– Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements:
– Previous experience or knowledge of pipefitting or related mechanical work is preferred
– Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
– Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical documents
– Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors
– Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in tight spaces
– Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols

Pay: $24.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 84 per week
