Position Description
The Warehouse Picking & Delivery Technician is responsible for accurately picking and preparing orders, loading and unloading materials, and safely delivering cabinetry products using company box trucks. This role supports efficient order fulfillment while maintaining product quality and excellent customer service.
In addition to warehouse and delivery duties, the Warehouse Picking & Delivery Technician helps maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment through inventory organization, housekeeping, and general warehouse support. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to workplace efficiency and safety.
Key ResponsibilitiesPicking Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, verify, and stage cabinetry products and materials according to work orders and delivery schedules.
- Inspect orders for completeness, quality, and accuracy before loading to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize delivery errors.
- Maintain organized inventory locations and assist with stock rotation, material handling, and warehouse organization.
Shipping & Delivery Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and unload cabinetry products using company box trucks while following all traffic laws and safety procedures.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure products are delivered on time, in good condition, and with appropriate documentation.
- Assist with client pick-ups
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns to ensure reliable fleet operation.
Safety & Organization
- Ensure proper handling of cabinets, materials, and equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies and operational procedures.
Performance Expectations
The Warehouse & Shipping Technician is expected to:
- Meet the delivery and picking deadlines
- Maintain strong communication with management and production teams.
- Ensure you work safely, accurately, and productively.
- Support overall shop efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Must have a clean driving record
- Forklift, Pallet-Jack & other warehouse equipment experience is a must
- CDL or experience driving and operating box trucks
Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour
