Hours of Operation:
– Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
– Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Job Summary:
Eastside Pharmacy & Custom Compounding is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role supports the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
– Accurately enter prescription information and maintain patient records
– Assist the pharmacist in preparing and filling prescriptions in accordance with state regulations
– Measure, count, label, and package medications
– Manage workflow to ensure timely prescription processing
– Communicate with patients regarding prescription status and general questions
– Process transactions accurately and efficiently at checkout
– File prescriptions that are ready for pickup in an organized system
– Manage over-the-counter inventory, including stocking and maintaining product displays
– Assist with prescription delivery services as needed
– Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized pharmacy
– Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
Qualifications:
– Licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Alabama Board of Pharmacy preferred, but not required to submit a resume. (It is required prior to performing duties of the job)
– Pharmacy experience is a plus
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
– Strong communication and customer service skills
– Basic computer skills and willingness to learn pharmacy systems
– Ability to stand for extended periods of time throughout the shift

Alabama Technician License required prior to performing the duties of the job. Experience using RX30 prescription software preferred.
