Responsibilities:
– Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
– Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
– Counsel patients regarding medications and health issues
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
– Monitor patient medication therapy for effectiveness and safety
– Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
– Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmaceuticals and healthcare practices
– Comply with all legal requirements and regulations governing pharmacy practice
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
– Valid part A license in the province of Ontario
– Strong knowledge of medications, medical terminology, and pharmacy laws and regulations
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
– Effective communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
– Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60.00-$68.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 40 per week
