Responsibilities:
– Dispense prescription medications to patients and offer expertise in the safe use of prescriptions
– Provide advice on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage of pharmaceuticals
– Conduct patient assessments and recommend appropriate medications
– Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
– Manage inventory and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations
Qualifications:
– Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree
– State pharmacist license in good standing
