We are seeking a full-time (Tuesdays to Saturdays 9:45am to 7pm) receptionist for our grooming and pet retail store.
We pride ourselves in providing the best customer service to all of our clients and to provide the best products and grooming experience for their pets.
The candidate will be expected to handle customers for both retail and grooming, take phone calls and approve online grooming bookings. In addition, the candidate needs to be comfortable handling dogs of all breeds and sizes.
We are looking for an experienced receptionist that has either worked in/as: retail stores, pet-related stores and/or customer service representative.
$19/h contractor
Details of the position:
You will be expected to manage the retail section of the store, and handle customer service and sales inquiries.
As well as managing schedules, customer intakes and communicate with groomers to manage schedules
Checking-in dogs/cats and receiving grooming needs, possible allergies or injuries and relay them to the groomers.
In addition, you will need to electronically organize and add customer information. And let groomers and bathers know what information is under their booked dogs/cats.
Remove and add inventory on online store as new shipments arrive & pack online order shipments
Assisting groomers with challenging dogs whenever required (Such as holding on to the dog)
General cleaning (taking out garbage bags, vacuuming, moping, etc)
Qualifications
The most important qualification that we’re looking for is, friendliness and provide exceptional customer service to each and all clients.
Has an experience in working in/as: retail stores, pet-related stores and/or customer service representative.
Must be comfortable handling dogs of all breeds and sizes — Other than taking the dogs from clients to groomers and handing the dogs back to its owners.
Must be fluent working with computers, as the job will require you to check online booking systems, check inventory on our online excel sheet, etc.
