Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing pest control services for residential and commercial properties, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients. This role requires a combination of technical skills, customer service abilities, and a strong understanding of pest management practices. Another positive is being licensed for nuisance wildlife in the state of Kansas, as well as category 7 for pest control.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and assess the extent of the problem.
- Develop and implement effective pest control strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
- Apply pesticides and other treatments using appropriate techniques and equipment, including power tools and hand tools.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatments applied and follow-up recommendations.
- Educate clients about pest prevention methods and provide guidance on maintaining a pest-free environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Drive to various job sites using company vehicles, adhering to all safety regulations while on the road.
Experience
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with farm machinery, landscape maintenance, or lawn care is a plus.
- Strong sales skills are beneficial for promoting additional services to clients.
- A valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
