Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to provide care and assistance to individuals in need. As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those requiring support in various settings such as home care, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes.
Responsibilities:
– Assist clients with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
– Provide meal preparation and feeding assistance
– Administer medications following prescribed guidelines
– Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
– Offer companionship and emotional support to individuals in your care
– Implement specialized care for clients requiring dementia care
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of clients
Experience:
– Prior experience in home care, caregiving, or a related field is preferred
– Familiarity with assisting individuals in assisted living or nursing home settings
– Knowledge of medication administration protocols
– Ability to provide quality senior care services with empathy and respect
– Experience in dementia care is a plus
