Carecor is seeking committed Personal Support Workers to enhance patient care in Oshawa’s Transitional Care Units. This role involves 8-12 hour shifts under nursing staff supervision, promoting physical, social, and emotional wellness. A PSW certificate or enrollment in a Nursing pathway is required, along with CPI certification preferred for crisis intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform floor and observational care duties for patients
• Support optimal physical, social, and emotional patient well-being
• Work within a single facility for the full shift duration
• Stay flexible with scheduled shifts and assignments
• Assist nursing staff under direct supervision
Requirements:
• PSW certificate or enrolled in Nursing program
• Clinical experience as a PSW within the last 2 years
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Proof of relevant immunizations and tests
• Willingness to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Police Check
