About the role

See Sight Tours is hiring a People & Culture Coordinator to build a strong, high-performing team culture across our growing operations.

This role is focused on retention, communication, and team experience — especially for our tour guides, who are at the core of our product. You will create systems, processes, and initiatives that improve how our team operates, communicates, and stays engaged.

This is not a traditional HR role. It is execution-focused, culture-driven, and deeply connected to the day-to-day experience of our team.

What you will do

Onboarding & internal processes

Develop and improve onboarding for guides and internal team members

Build scalable internal processes that support growth and consistency

Ensure new hires are productive and aligned quickly

Culture & engagement

Build and manage culture and engagement initiatives across cities

Own monthly city budgets for team events, including:

  • Guide appreciation nights
  • Team outings
  • Local meetups
  • Create a culture where guides feel valued, recognized, and connected

Guide experience & retention

Own the full lifecycle of the guide experience

Build and manage a guide rewards and recognition program

Continuously identify and solve retention issues

Turn feedback into actionable improvements

Communication & alignment

Improve communication across guides, operations, and internal teams

Build systems for clear updates, expectations, and feedback

Reduce confusion and increase accountability across teams

Hiring support & coordination

Work closely with Krista (Recruiter) on hiring strategy for tour guides

Align hiring with city demand, seasonality, and growth plans

Improve hiring speed, quality, and candidate experience

Performance management

Implement performance tracking and feedback systems

Support managers in maintaining high standards

Identify top performers and underperformance early

Build a scalable “Guide Experience” playbook across all cities

Introduce engagement scoring and retention tracking systems

Implement internal tools (Discord) to streamline communication

Create leadership pathways for top-performing guides

Standardize training and certification programs

Launch internal feedback loops (pulse surveys, NPS-style scoring)

Partner with operations to improve day-to-day working conditions

Help shape company culture as the team scales nationally/globally
