Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll/A/P Coordinator to join our team. As a Payroll/A/P Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees, as well as invoice processing and payments for vendors. This is a vital role within our organization, as you will play a key part in:
– maintaining employee satisfaction and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.

Duties:
– Process payroll for employees using Ceridian
– Collect and review timesheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness
– Calculate and process employee wages, deductions, and adjustments
– Prepare and distribute direct deposits to employees
– Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
– Reconcile payroll with job costing system in Procontractor
– Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave balances, and other relevant information
– Enroll employees in company pension and benefit programs
– Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data i
– Assist with the preparation of payroll reports for management or regulatory purposes
– Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance
– Process vendor invoices and payments into Procontractor
– Maintain vendor master data
Requirements:
– Proven experience in Payroll and A/P
– Strong knowledge of payroll and A/P processes and procedures
– Proficiency in using payroll software/systems such as Ceridian
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
– Strong analytical skills to analyze payroll data and identify discrepancies or errors
– Knowledge of accounts payable processes is a plus
– Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees regarding payroll inquiries
