This includes numerous public entities and Public-Private Partnerships in Canada and abroad. At Aecon, people are at the heart of everything we do. As the Paver Operator travel throughout southern Alberta and southern Saskatchewan is required. This contract is 7 months and will begin in April 2024.
Key Responsibilities
Operate Heavy equipment Comply with health and safety requirements Attend toolbox meetings; have a safety mindset Clean equipment and do preventative maintenance checks Report any incidents and prepare accident report Required Knowledge & Experience 3+ years’ experience operating a Paver, following all standard equipment procedures.
Ability to
communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times. Maintains a valid Class 5 driver’s license or better. Own vehicle to get to and from jobsite. Willing to work out of town and in remote locations, as required. Willing to work overtime, as required. Must comply with the company’s drug & alcohol program, including testing requirement.
