- Optimize clinician time by scheduling appointments according to provider specifications or templates.
- Screen calls to determine if physician or clinical staff should take the call. Refer/re-route calls as needed.
- Travel between two locations.
- Patient chart preparation.
- Works within EMR scheduler, under appointment flow, notifying clinical staff of patient’s arrival via EMR scheduler check in and check out process.
- Confirm necessary appointments, reschedule and cancel appointments, follow up with patients who “No show” utilizing our automated confirmation system.
- Maintains a professional, orderly, clean and secure front desk and reception area.
- Review paperwork to ensure the patient is registered correctly.
- Scan documents to patient electronic chart.
- Collects co-payments or past due balances.
- Obtain insurance referrals from primary care physician.
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording and updating personal and financial information.
