Position: Parts Technician
Position Type: Full time, Permanent
Location: Victoria, BC
Work Schedule: 40hrs/week – rotation, M-F, T-S
Position Overview
Velocity Truck Centres, Canada (previously P&R Truck Centre) is looking for a top Parts Technician for our Victoria dealership, who excels at creating a high-quality customer experience. Primary Job Functions
Sell, store, and supply parts to customers
Use company software to process parts and supplies, maintain records, prepare orders, post receipts, sales contracts, stock adjustments and credit requests
Follow the inventory and merchandising processes while maintaining the retail display
Implement workflow procedures and continuous improvement initiatives for the department
Other duties as assigned by Parts or Assistant Parts Manager
Qualifications
Great customer service both in person and over the phone, verbally and in writing.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at once.
Confidence using computer systems, writing reports and searching for customer parts.
Self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced, detailed, and process-driven environment.
Previous experience in the automotive or trucking industry is an asset.
