Delta Power Equipment is a full-service farm and construction equipment dealership with 450+ employees providing sales, service and parts support at multiple locations across Ontario. Delta Power Equipment is looking for people who are passionate and who want to make a difference in the lives of our customers.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for ensuring accurate and seamless reception and processing of incoming shipments, as well as outgoing shipments.
Unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting, and use any necessary equipment, e.g. lift truck, forklift.
Match product with purchase and shipping orders.
Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and if multiple items per shipment, ensure item lists are complete.
May be required to assist with scheduling freight appointments
Sort and distribute incoming shipments.
Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
Working experience in Shipping and Receiving role preferred.
Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Computer literacy, including effective working skills of Word, Excel, Power point and email required. Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
