Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Parts Salesperson to join our Heavy Equipment team! In this role, you will be the vital link between our dealership and our valued customers, providing expert advice on Equipment parts and accessories, managing inventory, and ensuring a seamless sales experience. Your enthusiasm for Equipment repair and Service, combined with excellent communication skills, will drive customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships. This job also pays commission if objectives are met monthly. Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying the correct parts and accessories for their Equipment, utilizing heavy equipment diagnostics and product knowledge.
- Manage inventory control, stock stocking, and order fulfillment to ensure parts availability and accurate record-keeping using inventory management systems like Aspen DMS.
- Engage in retail sales activities by providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and processing sales efficiently with strong cashiering skills.
- Negotiate prices and terms with customers while maintaining a professional demeanor to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain organized shelving, proper stock rotation, and accurate inventory levels through regular stock checks.
- Collaborate with the service department when needed to support equipment maintenance and repair needs by ensuring timely parts delivery for our valued customers.
- Commission’s also at the following of every month, if objectives are met.
- Utilize marketing strategies to promote parts specials or new product offerings, enhancing dealership visibility and sales growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Heavy Equipment repair or Heavy Equipment service environments is highly preferred; dealership experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory effectively using tools like Microsoft Excel or similar software.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and bilingual abilities (bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply).
- Knowledge of heavy equipment diagnostics, equipment maintenance procedures, and equipment repair processes.
- Ability to handle credit card transactions accurately while demonstrating strong cashiering skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional appearance. Excellent telephone interpersonal skills.
- Drive parts truck to pick up parts when needed.
- Basic math skills for order fulfillment, retail math calculations, and inventory control.

- Able to drive forklift and unload trucks when needed.

Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
