Overview:
O’Rourke Family Estate (OFE) is a 300-acre property with panoramic views of surrounding orchards, vineyards, rolling mountains and the glistening water of Okanagan Lake. Inspired by Europe’s most famous wineries, the property features 110 acres of vines, 300 metres of winding tunnels and 12,000 square-feet of cave space to store and age wines. Peak Cellars is located on a 7-acre property down the road from OFE, and is home to our Goldie Road Vineyard. Wine isn’t the only thing the property produces; the half-acre organic vegetable garden and two greenhouses supply the highest quality fruits and vegetables for the Garden Bistro. We are looking for aParts Driverto join our incredible team of wine and food lovers.
Role type:Seasonal, full-time
Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of theParts Driverinclude:
Coordinate pick ups and deliveries to the wineries
Drive company vehicle to deliver wine, supplies and other items in a safe and timely manner
Accurately receive and verify inventory being gathered and distributed
Keep vehicles fueled and notify management of needed repairs
Physical endurance being able to lift 50 lbs. at a time
The ideal candidate has:
Ability to manage time efficiently.
Work well unsupervised.
Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
Ability to lift 50Lbs.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid Class 5 Driver License with a clear drivers abstract
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Employee Benefits:
Compensation: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
