Oxford Learning Aurora is looking for enthusiastic part-time teacher-tutors passionate about math and science. This role involves working directly with students, helping them grasp complex concepts across Grades 9-12 in a supportive environment. You will not need to lesson plan as all sessions are pre-designed, allowing you to focus on student engagement and understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach up to three students at varying levels
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies during sessions
• Fill in post-lesson notes for student records
• Maintain daily communication updates with students
• Ensure a friendly and professional demeanor at all times
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent
• Experience teaching/tutoring math from Grades 9-12
• Strong English communication skills
• Ability to multitask with several students
• Must commute to the in-person location
