Part Time Commercial Janitor and Residential Cleaner Jobs in Vancouver at Waxwing Services
Waxwing Services is looking for dedicated, hard working and reliable people to join our team!
We are currently seeking part time employees for a commercial office space for janitorial cleaning services in Vancouver on Tuesday and Thursday mornings 10am – 2pm. As well as Residential shifts throughout the week
Your duties will include
-General cleaning of the washroom area
-General cleaning of the break/staff room
-Dusting/wipe down of equipment, desks and seating
-Removal of garbage
-Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
No previous cleaning experience is required, full paid training will be provided.
We are looking for team members who are
- Detail-oriented : notices and addresses small details to maintain high cleaning standards.
- Reliable & punctual : consistently shows up on time and completes tasks as scheduled.
- Self-motivated & independent : able to work with minimal supervision.
- Physically active : comfortable with walking, bending, lifting, and being on their feet for extended periods.
- Trustworthy & professional : handles client spaces and property with care and discretion.
- Efficient & organized : completes tasks within designated timeframes without sacrificing quality.
- Safety-conscious : follows cleaning protocols, chemical handling, and ladder/step stool safety.
- Team player : works well with coworkers when assignments overlap, while also capable of working solo.
- Good communication skills : able to report issues, supply needs, or maintenance concerns clearly.
It will provide 8 – 20 hours per week.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15 per week
Pay: $18.50-$19.00 per hour
