We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and outgoing team player to join our Parking Patrol and Customer Service team, located in downtown Halifax.
WORK SCHEDULE:
The successful applicant will have a regular schedule of 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday to Friday. Additional hours may occasionally be required as operations dictate.
Drivers license and clean drivers abstract is required. Mileage for work travel is compensated.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
From 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM you will be responsible for completing general cleaning duties at one of our parking structures. This includes, but is not limited to:
Changing garbage’s
Picking up litter
Sweeping & Mopping
Wiping down touch points
Dusting
From 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, you will be responsible for completing parking patrol and customer service at two of our locations. This includes, but is not limited to:
On foot, patrol several downtown parking lots to conduct enforcement, and provide assistance to customers.
Use company E-Scooter from time to time, to travel between assigned parking lots to conduct regular patrols, and provide assistance to customers.
Take ownership and leadership of the overall parking operations for the locations assigned, while abiding by the standards and norms of Indigo.
Inspect the parking area to verify that equipment and lighting function properly, that cars circulate without problems, that there is a sufficient quantity of supplies necessary to the proper functioning of the parking lot.
Completing minor equipment repairs as required, and minimizing any downtime to parking operation.
Clean all parking equipment and signage regularly.
Enforce parking policies.
Provide assistance in person and remotely to customers in the use of the automated parking equipment, recognizing and respecting the individual needs of each customer.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
High level of interpersonal skills, including poise and diplomacy.
Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
Previous customer service experience.
Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
Ability to work with little supervision.
Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools for making repairs.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
