We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to our customers. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road and providing excellent customer service.
### Responsibilities:
– Safely operate own vehicle to transport goods to customers in a timely manner
– Load and unload merchandise from the vehicle
– Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
– Provide exceptional customer service by delivering items with care and professionalism
– Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
– Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs, mileage records, and customer receipts
– Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
– Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues
### Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
– Previous experience in customer service or a similar role
– Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25lbs limit]) on a regular basis
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
– Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and procedures
– Experience in moving or logistics is preferred
