The Role: We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Site Supervisor and Painter to direct daily operations at our construction sites. You will be required to paint, use a ladder, and direct other painters. Your primary focus will be leadership, logistics, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Paint: Create straight lines with a brush, roll without flashing, spray without drips. Efficiently mask.
- Site Management: Direct daily activities on residential and commercial job sites, ensuring projects stay on schedule.
- Team Leadership: Communicate clearly with crew members, assign tasks, and foster a productive work environment. Maintain personal productivity.
- Quality Assurance: Perform detailed inspections of work-in-progress to ensure superior finish quality and attention to detail.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates and addressing concerns professionally.
- Organization & Logistics: Keep site and companies van clean and organized. Keep track of paint and tools. Stay on schedule. Manage material inventory, equipment setup, and site cleanliness/safety.
- Learning & Development: Rapidly learn our specific painting products and application methods.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience directing a construction site or leading a team in a related industry. Experience as a painter highly preferred, but training is available for a related construction manager.
- Communication: Superb verbal and written communication skills; able to give clear directions and listen effectively.
- Attitude: Self-starter
