PPG is hiring a Full Time Paint Batch Maker with an Opportunity to Build Your Career Message “PPG” to to apply for this position via text! This position is for Day Shift with typical Shift hours between Monday – Friday 7am to 3:30pmAs a Batch Maker you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them.

Key Responsibilities:
• The individual must be a licensed forklift driver, punctual, responsible, possess good reading & mathematical skills and take pride in fabricating a good batch of media. Understanding of the different ingredients that goes into a batch, the importance of the correct sequence of additions of raw material. Inspect, maintain, and operate utilities system of the plant to provide specified and reliable environmental conditions and report abnormal conditions to the Plant Manager/Maintenance Manager.
Perform preventive maintenance, plan projects, ensure machinery development as required to minimize service interruption. Demonstrate
flexibility
and willingness to work overtime when required. Ensure that all work is performed in full compliance with good manufacturing practice, standard operating procedures, work instructions and establish safety standards. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Demonstrate good interpersonal and
communication skills
. Adhere to all health and safety rules and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
• A comparable amount of training,
education
or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications. Strong mechanical aptitude, able to learn new machines and processes within a short time frame. Good understanding of the machine’s functions with ability to achieve high level of
precision
