Packhouse General Labour Jobs in Sombra at Envirofresh Produce Inc.
Our Sombra, ON Greenhouse facility is currently seeking an PH General Labourer t to join our team. The essential function of this position is to learn various customer product specifications, and to work on production lines that sort fresh produce (peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.) in to finished goods of various formats according to customer specifications
Primary Responisbilities:
Sort product to ensure what’s being packed meets company and customer specifications.
Utilize learned specifications to quickly and accurately sort raw
Communicate concerns in quality to line
Adequate knowledge of PPE, Food safety, GMP’s & overall
Check labeling
Any other tasks as directed by
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Ability to learn and retain a wealth of product and customer
Ability to make critical decisions quickly and
Manual dexterity: ability to work with hands for the entire
Working Conditions:
Air-Conditioned warehouse
Must be capable of frequently lifting to 30
Position requires standing and or walking for the entire
