At Fisher Coating we paint Hardie and wood products for siding, soffit, and cladding. We are looking for a detail-oriented, hardworking individual to join our team as a Packer & Quality Control Associate. You will make sure every product that leaves our facility is properly packed, correctly labelled, and meets our quality standards — and keep an accurate record of anything that doesn't.
FULL-TIME SCHEDULE:
In-Person Monday – Friday · 6:45 AM – 2:45 PM
STARTING WAGE: CA$22.00 / HR
PHYSICAL ROLE | TRAINING PROVIDED
BENEFITS AFTER 3 MONTHS
💪 This is an active, hands-on role. You will be handling and packing Hardie and wood products
throughout the day. We need someone who is physically capable, reliable, and takes pride in doing
the job right.
PACKING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pack finished Hardie and wood products following packing rules
- Label and bundle products accurately for shipping
- Handle and move material safely, including heavy items
- Load and stage completed orders for dispatch
- Keep the packing area clean and well-organized
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation
WHO WE NEED
- Physically capable — comfortable with active, hands-on work
- Able to lift and handle heavy materials regularly
- Sharp eye for detail and product quality
- Comfortable following packing procedures consistently
- Reliable — on time and ready to contribute every day
- Good communicator who works well in a team
- Safety-conscious and PPE-compliant at all times
QUALITY CONTROL DUTIES
- Inspect each product for defects before packing
- Log all rejects clearly and accurately
- Report recurring quality issues to supervisors
- Ensure products meet finish and dimension specifications
- Separate and hold non-conforming items for review
- Maintain accurate QC records throughout the shift
