Duties
- Monitor access points to control entry and exit for residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel
- Conduct regular surveillance to oversee the property’s perimeter and common areas
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies with appropriate conflict management techniques
- Perform safety checks and patrols throughout the premises to identify potential hazards or security breaches
- Maintain detailed logs of all activities, incidents, and visitor entries during overnight shifts
- Maintain the front desk and lobby area
- Answer phones
Skills
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a strong understanding of surveillance techniques
- Problem-solving
- Excellent conflict management skills
- Familiarity with security protocols, access control systems, and emergency response procedures
- Ability to remain alert during overnight hours while maintaining a positive and approachable demeanor
- Strong communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with residents and team members
