Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our private out-patient neighborhood clinic. As a Licensed PTA, you will play a vital role in assisting our physical therapists in providing exceptional service. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in a long-term position with a small team.
Responsibilities:
– Assist physical therapist with patient treatment
– Assist patients in performing exercises and therapeutic activities under the guidance of a licensed clinician
– Monitor patients during training sessions and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinic and gym areas and equipment
– Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing
-Participate in team meetings and events
– Social media marketing
Qualifications:
– Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
– Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
– Preferred: Knowledge of laser, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
– Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
