Elevate donor relations and philanthropic funding as the Vice President of Philanthropy at The Ottawa Cancer Foundation. Join a mission-driven organization focused on impactful cancer care support.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will spearhead the Foundation’s fundraising and donor engagement efforts, particularly through nurturing major gifts and corporate relationships. Your leadership will be critical in advancing the Foundation’s initiatives and enhancing its community presence across Eastern Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct fundraising strategies to secure sustainable support
• Build lasting relationships with community stakeholders
• Engage in public speaking to promote the Foundation’s mission
• Work closely with leadership to align fundraising goals
• Enhance donor experience and retention strategies
Requirements:
• Experience leading complex fundraising efforts
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Background in healthcare philanthropy is beneficial
• Proficiency in navigating sensitive discussions with empathy
• Ability to communicate in French and English is preferred
