Job Description: Order Picker Packer
We are Sheldon Creek Dairy! Located in Loretto Ontario, we craft whole milk products and much more. We are seeking a reliable and efficient Order Picker Packer to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and shipping customer orders in a timely manner. This role is crucial to maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring smooth warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Order Picking
– Accurately pick products from fridge location and warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
– Ensure picked items are in good condition and match order specifications.
-Packing
– Carefully pack orders to prevent damage during shipping.
– Label packages accurately with shipping and handling information.
Shipping
– Prepare orders for shipment by verifying packing lists.
– Load packages onto delivery trucks or pallets.
Inventory Management
– Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
– Report discrepancies or damaged products to the supervisor.
– Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
General Warehouse Duties
– Maintain a clean and organized work area.
– Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
– Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet movers and floor cleaners
Qualifications
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
– Ability to operate handheld scanners and basic computer skills.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
– Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items up to 30 pounds for extended periods.
– Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Work Environment
– Fast-paced fridge/warehouse setting.
– Exposure to 4 degree temperatures in refrigerated warehouse
– Requires standing and moving for most of the shift.
Schedule
Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm
