Hiring an Order Picker
Duties include:
Picking orders for customers
Loading/unloading trucks
Assisting customers when required
Cleaning and organization of freezer
Requirements:
Ability to lift 60+ lb. on a regular basis
Must have 1+years experience in Warehouse
Fluent in English (reading/writing)
The Working Environment:
This Mid-Size growing Warehouse services Frozen Food producers and distributors.
Temperature in the warehouse is MINUS 22 and since there are fans running constantly it is cold. To be successful you must like and be comfortable working in this environment.
You must be physically fit as you may occasionally spend 8 hours a day on your feet.
Due to the nature of the product there is considerable heavy lifting required. At times you may be called upon to lift boxes up to 55 lbs. for considerable periods of time as you assist loading trucks.
You will be interacting with customers so good verbal skills are very important.
Skills Required:
Physically fit
Ability to count items and record information quickly and accurately
An eye for detail –with a good memory is very helpful
Must have good English language skills
Previous Fork Lift Experience
Schedule and Pay:
From $18.00 per hour based on Experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
