Order Entry Clerk Jobs in Mississauga at Camden Door Controls
Job Description:
The Order Entry Clerk is responsible for processing orders and producing invoices.
The ability to work with a fast-paced order entry team is essential.
Must work in conjunction with other departments to resolve any issue that prevents a purchase order from being processed.
Provide assistance to production, customer service and accounting.
The ability to manage information details and to work on multiple orders simultaneously is a fundamental requirement.
Specific Accountabilities:
Process purchase orders received by fax, email, and EDI (electronic data interchange).
Perform filling, correspondence and information system updates as required.
Orders are processed using the Sage 300 ERP system.
Attention to detail is required to reference multiple price lists and special pricing.
Input manual data updates to Camden’s proprietary Order Tracking System, as required.
Contact customers via email to resolve price or item errors contained on purchase orders, or forward them to the Customer Service Department for resolution.
Respond to any request for information clarification received regarding orders.
Invoice shipped orders.
Send order acknowledgement, advance ship notice/ shipping labels and invoices via EDI.
Qualifications:
Post secondary diploma in accounting or a business-related field.
3 Yr. data processing experience
Intermediate skills using MS. Office, spreadsheets, and word docs.
Sage 300 or equal ERP system knowledge is a definite asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
