We’re looking for an on-site Operations and Sales Support Coordinator in the manufacturing industry.
Our client is a well- established manufacturing company based in South Vancouver. They operate in a hands-on, non-corporate environment and are known for producing high-quality specialty products while maintaining long-term customer relationships. This is a stable business with a practical, team-oriented culture where people pitch in and take ownership of their work.
The Operations and Sales Support Coordinator will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, customer orders, and internal processes, while also assisting with sales follow-up and light marketing initiatives. This role works closely with senior leadership and sits at the centre of the business.
Operations and Sales Support Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Process and review customer orders for accuracy
- Coordinate shipments and logistics with production teams and customers
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email
- Maintain order documentation and customer records
- Assist with inventory tracking and production scheduling
- Help ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Work closely with production and logistics to adapt to shifting priorities
- Follow up with existing customers regarding orders and product inquiries
- Assist with outbound outreach to potential customers
- Maintain and organize customer contact lists
- Coordinate samples and product information for prospective customers
- Support the use and maintenance of CRM systems
- Assist with simple promotional email campaigns and customer updates
- Help keep social media channels current, including LinkedIn and Instagram
- Support basic website updates and digital content maintenance
- Provide administrative support to the President
- Assist with vendor coordination, purchasing, and general office operations
- Support ad hoc projects as needed
The Successful Candidate Has:
- 3 to 8 years of experience in operations, administration, inside sales, or customer support
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or a similar hands-on environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Comfort creating professional customer communications
- Experience with CRM systems, email marketing tools, or social media is considered an asset but not required
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with minimal hand-holding
- Willingness to pitch in where needed as part of a small, hands-on team
Compensation and Benefits:
- The discussed salary range is $70,000– $85,000 depending on experience
