Operations Manager – Financial Services
Mississauga (full time in office 5 days a week)
$75-100K + Bonus
We are partnering with a well-established organization in the financial services sector to identify an experienced Operations Manager. This role is responsible for supporting and enhancing day-to-day operational functions, with a focus on team leadership, process efficiency, and maintaining high standards of compliance and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the oversight and day-to-day coordination of a customer service function
- Contribute to the management and ongoing optimization of internal systems and tools
- Monitor the timely and accurate processing of financial documentation in line with regulatory requirements
- Uphold data quality and integrity across operational processes
- Assist with system enhancements, implementations, and upgrades
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Coordinate with external vendors and support performance tracking
- Help maintain adherence to risk, compliance, and data security standards
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technology teams to support business needs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in operations within financial services, banking, leasing, or insurance
- Experience supporting or leading teams in an operational environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Working knowledge of data privacy, security, and regulatory frameworks in Canada
- Professional and collaborative approach with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exposure to process improvement or efficiency initiatives
- Ability to work effectively across teams and manage stakeholder relationships
- Customer-focused mindset with strong organizational skills
