SUMMARY
The Operations Associate will perform a variety of tasks in service of the main goal of ensuring that production needs for quality and quantity are met.
This includes being knowledgeable in the specifics, such as the size, details and functions of the crates being washed, and observing the finished product to verify that they meet all the standards. If an issue arises in the quality or usability of the product, the Operations Associate I must identify whether it is due to faulty equipment or human error, and address and report the issue.

Job Duties
PALLET JACKER DUTIES
Remove and inspect full pallets from the wash line, removing any visible labels, stickers, debris.
Hand wrap pallets as needed.
Assist outfeed stacker as needed.
Notify forklift operator or shift leader to replenish pallet inventory.
Collect accurate data on wash sheets.
Ensure that the wash plan is being followed.
Drop completed pallets in designated area.
Wrap 3rd party pallets and broken pallets as needed.
Maintain a clean working area during and after your shift is over.

SORTER DUTIES
Ensures the integrity and quality of each crate and removes any visible labels,
stickers, and debris.
Reject and separate any crate which is damaged or broken.
Separate and sort crates by size in a safe manner.
Assist in unjamming the lines, as needed.
Ensure stacks are safely flowing into the dryer and help with dryer infeed issues.
Maintain a clean working area during and after your shift is over.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and company handbook.
QUALITY CONTROL DUTIES
Members must ensure the integrity and quality of all crates are in line with the provided specifications.
Remove any crates that are broken, dirty or have any labels / stickers that are not removable within 2-3 seconds and send for rewash or additional QC.
Assist the sorter by stacking crates, as needed.
Assist in jamming the line as needed.
Maintain a clean working area during and after your shift is over.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and company handbook.
INFEED DUTIES
Remove large labels, trash, bags, meat, and vegetation before placing the crates upside down on the conveyor.
Separate broken, damaged, or extremely dirty crates on the line.
Keep the infeed conveyor full of crates, limiting any gaps.
De-stack pallets and fill rollers for the thrower.
Feed automation line.
Assist in rectifying alarms on de-stacker and opener.
Assist in un-jamming the transport belts, opener, and destructor.
Take garbage bags to compactor as needed.
Maintain a clean working area during and after your shift is over.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and company handbook.
OUTFEED STACKER DUTIES
Always maintain pallet configuration.
Discard any pallets that are broken or not in good condition.
Carry stacks of crates from the dryer to the pallet.
Assist in recovering dryer alarms as needed.
Assist other stackers in emptying out their lines, as required.
Maintain a clean working area during and after your shift is over.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and company handbook.
REQUIREMENTS
Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace.
Must always wear PPE, and food safety PPE.
Highly motivated and able to work independently and with a team.
Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions orally and in writing.
Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
Strong communication and problem solving skills
WORKING CONDITIONS
Moderate to high noise level
Varying temperatures based on season.
Requires ability to walk, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, bend at waist, climb.
Maximum unassisted lift = 50 lbs. Average lift is less than 25 lbs.
Hazards associated with the trade, including exposure to common chemical cleaners
