Oakcreek Golf & Turf LP is a leading Western Canadian OEM distributor of commercial turf maintenance and other equipment including Toro Turf Equipment, Yamaha Golf Cars, Pisten Bully Snowcats and Boss Plows.
Our business seeks the addition of an Office/Warehouse Assistant for our Duncan, British Columbia location. This position will require an individual to be versatile with their day-to-day responsibilities as this is a small branch office with only three other employees. You may be invoicing one day and assisting with washing equipment and operating a forklift the next.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
Maintain customer relationships by greeting and acknowledging all customers that you come in contact with.
Answer telephone calls.
Clerical and administrative duties including filing, quoting, etc.
Receive daily branch transfers.
Review and distribute incoming mail and faxes.
Prepare outgoing mail.
Prepare and complete occasional deposits.
Order and maintain office supplies.
Prepare invoices, quotes, customer notes, returns and warranties.
Collect payment for parts and Wholegoods invoices.
Assist in handling customer concerns ensuring that the business and the customer needs are equally satisfied.
Perform a variety of tasks throughout the warehouse as needed, which may include picking, packing and shipping parts, and completing necessary paperwork, and operating a forklift (will provide training if no previous experience) to move pallets.
Back-up shop support during busy times to assist with washing equipment, canopy installation, etc.
Stock verification / cycle counting on an ongoing basis.
Maintain branch cleanliness.
Perform other duties as requested by Management.
Candidate Profile
Minimum two to three years of related work experience.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Ability to prioritize issues.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Ability to be self-motivated and work independently as well as with a team.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels and departments.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and achieve results.
Forklift Operator training would be an asset but is not a deal-breaker.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
