About the Opportunity

Office Administration & Operations:

  • Oversee daily administrative activities to ensure the efficient operation of the office environment.
  • Manage workplace resources, including facilities, office equipment, supplies, and third-party service providers.
  • Coordinate internal meetings, corporate events, and employee-focused initiatives that promote engagement and collaboration.
  • Arrange business travel, accommodations, and related logistics for team members and leadership.
  • Track and reconcile office-related expenditures, vendor invoices, and departmental budgets.
  • Serve as a key resource for office administration inquiries and operational support.
  • Establish, maintain, and enhance office procedures and operational standards.
  • Provide administrative support to leadership on organizational projects and business initiatives.
  • Foster a welcoming, organized, and productive workplace culture.

Human Resources & Employee Support

  • Facilitate talent acquisition activities, including posting opportunities, coordinating interviews, and communicating with applicants throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support employee onboarding programs and ensure a seamless new hire experience.
  • Coordinate employee departures, including offboarding activities and feedback collection.
  • Assist in the creation, review, and maintenance of position descriptions and organizational documentation.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HR information is accurate, complete, and confidential.
  • Support payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee enrollment activities.
  • Prepare employment-related documentation, correspondence, and administrative records.
  • Assist with employee relations matters and initiatives that contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
  • Support performance management processes, employee development programs, and training initiatives.
  • Promote compliance with employment standards, workplace policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR programs, procedures, and organizational improvement initiatives.

About You

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Office Management, Human Resources, or a similar blended role
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment legislation
  • Working knowledge of the Employment Standards Act (ESA) and Occupational Health & Safety requirements
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
