Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Office Furniture Delivery Driver / Installer / Mover to join our team. This role involves transporting office furniture to client locations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery, and professionally installing furniture to meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, physical stamina, and a focus on customer service to provide a seamless delivery experience. Training will be provided to ensure you are comfortable and familiar with daily responsibilities. We are looking for responsible, dependable, and dedicated candidates only to fill this position.
Duties:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver office furniture to various locations
- Load and unload furniture using appropriate equipment, such as hand trucks or by hand
- Ensure all items are secured properly during transit to prevent damage
- Assist with the installation of office furniture at client sites, including assembly and positioning
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and inventory records
- Follow safety protocols at all times during transportation and installation
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must have a G-class driver’s license and a reliable source of transportation to get to work.
- Must be over the age of 25 and have 3+ years of G-class driving experience in Ontario for insurance purposes
- Must have 3+ years of truck driving experience in Canada, while being insured on a company’s insurance policy.
- Must have a registered business or be willing to create one
Responsibilities:
- Punctual, reliable, and dependable
- You must be comfortable driving a truck in all areas of the GTA.
- Must be able to follow all traffic regulations.
- You must be very hard-working and dedicated
- Must be physically able to lift to 50lbs to deliver furniture and do repeated heavy lifting
- Be willing to work flexible and long hours between Monday and Saturday (hours and start times vary, there are no set shifts)
- Required to have CSA- certified steel-toe safety boots
- Must be able to load and unload product from trucks using equipment or moving by hand, assisted, or on your own, depending on the load
- Be capable of working independently, as well as part of a team
- Must be fluent in English
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Required to have a working smartphone to check work schedule and complete daily reports
- Must have a registered business or be willing to open one.
- Upon successful completion of training, specific tools may be required

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Experience:
- Insured G-Class truck driving: 3 years (preferred)
