Compensation: $54,000 per annum. Plus, a competitive leave, benefits package and Pension Plan after an initial disqualification period
Program & Location: Administration Office (on-site) – Downtown Eastside, Vancouver

About the Job:

The Department Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the SRO Portfolio department at Atira. This position primarily focuses on administrative tasks, data management, and supporting communications with funders, partners, and other Atira staff (as requested). The Department Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring efficient data entry, data cleaning, data

analysis as needed and maintaining accurate records. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. The department coordinator also acts as the primary point of contact for phone calls and walk-in clients, respond to diverse client inquiries, gather information, and resolve issues when

possible, provide support to tenants with ledgers and manager meetings, maintain office equipment, call appropriate vendors for repairs and service, direct calls, take messages and manage correspondence for the Operations Team.

About You:
You are an organized and competent professional with excellent communication skills. You are comfortable dealing with people and able to carry out administrative duties with accuracy, speed, privacy, and confidentiality. Your goal is to ensure the office operations are efficient and add maximum value to the Society.

You are a detail-oriented person who can prioritize and manage your time well and is committed to attending work regularly and on time. You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Your enthusiasm and eagerness to learn/grow are your most important attributes for the position. You may have a year or two of experience in customer service or other office environment, and perhaps even some formal training in administration work. You are a feminist, passionate about the work of ending violence against women and children.

Additional Requisites/Assets:
