Full job description

Keep accurate financial records using QuickBooks online

Establish, maintain, and balance various accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial procedures.

Manage Accounts Receivables by issuing invoices, posting payments, and making regular bank deposits.

Manage Accounts Payables by issuing purchase orders, recording vendor bills, and issuing cheques.

Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial data.

Prepare and file quarterly HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) filings.

Journal Entries and Financial Statements:

Post journal entries and reconcile accounts to maintain accurate general ledgers.

Prepare trial balance of books and ensure financial statements are accurate and in compliance with accounting standards.

Calculate and prepare entries for payroll and utility, tax, and other bills.

Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers’ compensation forms, and other government documents as required.

Prepare various statistical, financial, and accounting reports for management review.

Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and company policies.

Maintain accurate and organized financial and administrative records.

Assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements and support external audits, if required.

Identify opportunities to improve bookkeeping processes and implement best practices.

Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards.

Inventory Management

Payroll using Wagepoint

Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Preparation of estimates

Preparation of invoices in a timely manner that reflect the work outlined in the estimate and that has been carried out

Manage company office, including supplies, organization, and maintenance.

Handle HR responsibilities such as hiring, onboarding, and documentation.

Coordinate and manage administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, organizing meetings, and managing calendars.

Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
