Full job description

Cardio-Care Cardiology and Arrhythmia Clinic is quickly expanding and is in immediate need of a medical administrative assistant. This is a parttime day position with a shift start time of 8:00am and concluding as late as 4-4:30 pm, but some days it may vary according to the operating hours. Some Saturdays will be required. Remuneration is competitive. This position reports directly to Dr. Farag, Cardiologist.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Answer and direct phone calls

Organize and schedule appointments

Plan meetings and take detailed notes

Write and distribute email, correspondence, memos, faxes, forms, etc.

Exercise clinic confidentiality

Develop and maintain a filing system

Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports

Adapt to changing administrative duties as the clinic expands

Handle multiple projects with strict deadlines

REQUIREMENTS

Proven administrative experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to exercise confidentiality and patience

Proven time management skills and ability to prioritize work

Attention to detail and problem solving skills

Very strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task

Strong computer skills and typing speed of at least 50 wpm.

ASSETS

Medical Office Administration Diploma

Familiarity with Accuro EMR (Not Required)
