The Child and Youth with Complex Needs (CYCCN) program is part of the Maples and provides service to young people ages 7-18 with co-occurring persistent emotional, mental health, development and/or behavioural needs that cause a functional impairment in the home, school, or community and who require specialized, integrated service plans. Services can be provided on-site in the Complex Care Unit (CCU) or through Provincial Outreach.

The Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre has developed Satellite Services in two additional communities outside of the lower mainland. These Satellite Services deliver short term mental health programming for children and youth with enduring and severe mental health and substance use concerns and are an extension of the Maples, offering on-site and community-based Maples services.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing and Licensed to practice nursing under the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

NOTE:If this education was obtained outside of Canada, you need to confirm it has been assessed for equivalency through the International Credential Evaluation Services (ICES). You must provide a basic report by the closing date of this posting to be considered.

Experience in the provision of mental health services to children, youth and their families.

Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
