St. Louis Bar & Grill is hiring Bartenders to join our team at our Guelph, ON location.
Bartender responsibilities include:
Setting up the bar for each shift
Interacting with customers and managing traffic in the bar area
Taking drink and food orders
Restocking all inventory items on the shelf, in the cooler, and in the refrigerator
Removing and cleaning from time to time
Maintaining a clean and sanitized bar area that is ready for each customer’s arrival
Complying with all health and safety regulations, including wearing a mask when needed
Performing opening and closing procedures on the bar equipment
Maintaining a clean work environment, including all bottles, glasses, utensils, etc.
Providing excellent customer service by being attentive, friendly, and helpful
Assisting other staff members as needed
Qualifications:
A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk up stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.
Knowledge of how to use basic bar equipment (i.e. ice cream maker, mixer jar, juicer)
Knowledge of how to make basic drinks (i.e. margaritas)
Food Handlers Certificate (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.55 per hour
